Continuous Improvement Manager

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum plus benefits

Winberry are working exclusively with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Continuous Improvement Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Continuous Improvement professional to make a real impact by enhancing processes, reducing waste, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste elimination

Analyse workflows to uncover inefficiencies and improvement areas

Lead improvement initiatives using Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

Monitor improvements to ensure long-term sustainability

Define project scope, objectives, and success measures

Develop and deliver structured improvement plans

Support change management to ensure successful adoption of new processes

Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise initiatives based on business impact

Work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and wider teams

Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

Provide coaching on Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices

Promote a collaborative and solutions-focused culture

Use data to identify trends and support decision-making

Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Provide updates on improvement initiatives and outcomes

About You

We're looking for a proactive and analytical individual with a passion for driving change and improving performance.

Essential:

Experience in a Continuous Improvement, Process Improvement, or similar role

Proven track record of delivering improvements in a fast-paced or operational environment

Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies and tools

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Desirable:

Experience within manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments

Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or above)

Experience leading cross-functional projects

Advanced data analysis skills
