Job Description: Class 2 Tipper Driver - Irlam

Careermakers Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers on behalf of a well-established client based in the Irlam area. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers with muck-away experience who are looking for regular weekday work, competitive pay, and no handballing.

You will be joining a growing and professional team committed to delivering reliable and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

Pay Rate:

* £18.50 per hour (CIS)

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle transporting materials such as aggregates, sand, and gravel

* Safely load and unload using the vehicle's tipping mechanism (no manual handling)

* Complete deliveries efficiently and on time across designated routes

* Carry out daily pre- and post-use vehicle checks and report any defects

* Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding routes and site updates

* Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and vehicle condition reports

* Adhere to all road safety regulations, transport legislation, and company policies

Requirements:

* Proven muck-away experience (essential)

* Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence

* Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card

* Minimum of 2 years' Class 2 driving experience (insurance requirement)

* Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations

* Professional, punctual, and safety-focused attitude

* No more than 6 penalty points (no major convictions)
