A well-established Tier 2 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Externals Site Manager to join the team on a large new build residential development in Canada Water, London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality façade and envelope packages on a major scheme.

The Role:

As the Externals Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple external packages on site — ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. You'll be overseeing key elements such as brickwork façades, SFS (Steel Frame Systems), precast panels, and rainscreen cladding.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day on-site operations for external works, including brickwork, SFS, precast façades, and rainscreen systems.

Coordinate subcontractors and ensure all external packages are progressing in line with programme and design.

*

Monitor and maintain high standards of health & safety, quality control, and site cleanliness.

*

Work closely with the Project Manager, Design Manager, and other internal teams to address technical queries and drive delivery.

*

Lead site inspections, snagging, and reporting processes for external works.

*

Ensure compliance with all specifications, drawings, and construction details.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Externals or Facade Site Manager on large new build residential schemes.

*

Strong technical understanding of brickwork, SFS, precast, and rainscreen cladding systems.

*

Confident managing multiple subcontractors and ensuring cohesive delivery.

*

Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

*

Based in or within easy reach of Canada Water, London.
