Y6 SATS Interventions Teacher

• Job Type: Part-time, Temporary (Wednesday and Thursday until Summer)

We are seeking a dedicated Y6 SATS Interventions Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team at South Lancaster School. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, looking for temporary part-time hours.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Work 1:2:1 and in small groups to provide targeted support in preparation for Y6 SATS.
• Implement intervention strategies that cater to the individual needs of students.
• Monitor and assess the progress of students, adjusting interventions as necessary to maximise effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to align intervention strategies with the main curriculum.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• Proven experience in a similar role, focusing on interventions and student support.
• Ability to engage and inspire young learners.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Friendly and professional demeanour.
