Are you a confident and commercially minded Buyer looking to join a growing, purpose-driven housebuilder? Our client is seeking an experienced Buyer to support their expanding development pipeline across Oxfordshire and beyond.

As a business with a strong local heritage and a commitment to sustainable communities, they pride themselves on building thoughtfully designed, high-quality homes — and now looking for the right person to help source the materials and services that make that possible.

🔧 What You'll Be Doing:

Managing procurement for housing developments, from materials to subcontractor services

*

Negotiating pricing, terms and contracts to ensure value for money and quality

*

Building strong supplier relationships and maintaining robust supply chains

*

Working closely with technical, commercial and site teams to ensure timely deliveries

*

Monitoring budgets, forecasting costs, and identifying value engineering opportunities

🧱 What We're Looking For:

*

Proven experience in a procurement or buying role within housebuilding or construction

*

Strong negotiation and organisational skills

*

Solid understanding of construction materials, supply chains, and residential build stages

*

A proactive, detail-focused approach with strong commercial awareness

*

Experience with COINS, Causeway or similar systems (desirable, not essential)
