Tax Senior | Growing Firm | Wexford

Our client is a well-established and respected firm of Accountants and Tax Advisors based in Wexford.
The firm has a vibrant client base across a variety of sectors, with a young and dynamic leadership team.

To facilitate continued growth and ensure top-tier client service, the firm are seeking a Tax Senior to join their team.

The Role

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Manage a portfolio of personal and corporate income tax clients including preparation of tax computations and returns and ensuring clients' returns and tax payments are correct and filed on time
• Working closely with the partners specific tax consultancy assignments
• Work as part of a team and liaise with other departments, including audit, corporate finance, and corporate recovery as required
• Assist with on-going tax training throughout the office
• Responsible for managing ad reviewing work of junior staff

About You

The Skills

To be successful in this role, you will likely have the following skills:

• CTA/ACA/ACCA Qualified, with circa 3 years of experience in tax
• Experience working across a variety of tax heads

• Solid understanding of Irish tax legislation and tax compliance obligations for clients

• Ability to mentor junior team members
