Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Hours: 08:00 - 16:30, Monday to Friday (39 hours/week)

Our client, a leading manufacturer in their field, is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join their established team in Oldham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable fitter to work with high-quality equipment in a well-respected engineering environment.

• Mechanical assembly and fitting of drive units, and structural steelwork
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and mechanical schematics
• Working with hand tools, air tools, and power tools to complete assemblies
• Pre-fitting and testing systems prior to site installation
• Ensuring all work is carried out to company standards and health & safety regulations

• Previous mechanical fitting experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Ability to read and work from detailed technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• A flexible and positive attitude with good problem-solving skills
• Relevant mechanical or engineering qualifications (apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 preferred)

• £15.00 per hour
• 39-hour week, Monday to Friday
