Production Team Supervisor

Location: Tetbury
Hours: 4 day working week: Monday-Thursday. 8:00am-6:00pm
Salary: £28,000

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Team Supervisor to lead and coordinate a team of six within a busy manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production flow, maintaining quality standards, and driving team performance.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and support a team of production machinists

* Allocate and organise daily work tasks to meet production schedules

* Prepare jobs and ensure materials and resources are available

* Coordinate materials and job flow across the production process

* Liaise closely with the Production Planner to maintain workflow

* Manage and monitor production processes and performance KPIs

* Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records

* Carry out inspection of finished goods to ensure quality standards

* Motivate and develop the team to achieve productivity targets

* Machine set-up and perform first line maintenance

Key Skills and Experience

* Previous experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role

* Sewing manufacturing experience is essential

* Experience working with industrial sewing machines

* Strong organisational and process management skills

* Ability to lead, motivate and support a production team

* Quality-focused with strong attention to detail
