Job Title: Year 1 Teacher

Milk Education is working closely with a supportive and inclusive primary school in the L10 area of Liverpool, who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about Key Stage 1 and early learning, looking for a role where they can make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

Support the academic and personal development of pupils

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, leadership, and wider school staff

Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment

Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in KS1, preferably Year 1

Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

A proactive, positive, and nurturing approach to teaching
