Key responsibilities include:

Delivering or assisting with small group interventions (e.g., phonics, reading, writing, maths).

*

Providing one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs, where required.

*

Helping to manage behaviour positively and maintain a calm, focused learning environment.

*

Assisting with classroom organisation, preparing resources, and supporting daily routines.

*

Promoting inclusion, emotional wellbeing, and a nurturing atmosphere for all children.

*

Liaising with teachers and SEND staff to monitor progress and contribute to planning.

We are looking for someone who:

*

Has experience working with primary-aged children in a school or early years setting.

*

Understands the different developmental needs of children across KS1 and KS2.

*

Is patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting every child's success.

*

Communicates clearly and confidently with pupils and adults.

*

Is reliable, proactive, and able to use initiative in the classroom.

*

Works well in a team and contributes to a positive, professional school culture.

*

Has, or is willing to undertake, relevant training including safeguarding and first aid.

We offer:

*

A warm and inclusive school environment with friendly, motivated pupils.

*

A supportive and experienced staff team who value collaboration.

*

Access to training and professional development within the school and wider trust.

*

A well-resourced setting that encourages creativity and innovation.

*

A school culture that prioritises wellbeing, respect, and the holistic development of children.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
