We are seeking a skilled Commercial Laundry Engineer for a site-based role in the Heathrow area. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing on-site commercial laundry equipment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a busy, high-demand environment.

This position is ideal for an electrically biased engineer who enjoys working in a fixed location and being part of an on-site maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial laundry equipment* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on washers, dryers, and finishing equipment* Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise operational downtime* Ensure all machinery is operating safely, efficiently, and in line with site requirements* Work closely with site teams to coordinate maintenance and repairs* Maintain accurate service and maintenance records* Support installation and commissioning of new equipment when required* Follow all health & safety procedures and site regulations

Requirements

* Proven experience in a commercial laundry engineer or maintenance engineer role* Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills* Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)* Experience working with industrial or commercial equipment* Ability to work independently within a site-based environment* Good communication skills and a proactive approach

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)* Experience in high-demand environments (e.g., airports, logistics, hospitality, healthcare)* Familiarity with PLC systems and controls* Experience with commercial laundry equipment brands
