We have several clients across the UK who are always on the hunt for experienced Sales and Procurement professionals within the Fresh produce Industry.

We have clients looking in Kent, Lincolnshire, Oxfordshire and Evesham and more.

Are you passionate about the fresh produce industry and skilled in the art of trading? Join one of our clients as a Fresh Produce Trader / Senior Sales or Procurement and Sales Manager and play a pivotal role in expanding our reach in the UK Non-Retail or Retail market.

What You'll Do

Grow & Develop New Business

· Identify and engage new clients, including wholesalers, distributors, and catering businesses.

· Create Strategy and implement growth plans to expand their market presence and boost sales.

Sell & Trade Like a Pro

· Drive fresh produce sales with competitive pricing and smart trading tactics.

· Align supply with demand to maximize profitability and revenue opportunities.

Build Lasting Client Relationships

· Cultivate strong partnerships with key buyers to foster loyalty and long-term collaboration.

· Provide top-tier customer service, resolving issues quickly and effectively.

Master the Art of Negotiation

· Secure the best deals by negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Stay Ahead of the Market

· Keep a pulse on industry trends, regulations, and market shifts to refine trading strategies.

· Monitor competitors and uncover new growth opportunities.

Manage Inventory & Orders Efficiently

· Support stock management with accurate inventory control and seamless order fulfilment.

· Work closely with logistics teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.

Handle Key Administrative Tasks

· Manage purchase orders, invoicing, and transaction records with precision.

· Generate insightful sales reports and market analyses to support decision-making.

What You Bring to the Table

Industry Expertise:

* Experience in the Fresh Produce Trade (Fruit, Salad, Veg )

* Retail or Non-Retail customers, with a strong preference for the Fruit trade.

* Sales & Business Development Skills: Proven track record in sales, trading, or account management.

* Negotiation & Communication Excellence: Ability to close deals and build lasting partnerships.

* Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of wholesale distribution channels and global trade dynamics.

* High-Energy & Self-Driven Attitude: Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

* International Trade Savvy: Familiarity with import/export regulations is a plus.
