The Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the project team delivering a £12m traditional build new care home in Chiswick. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of site operations, ensuring the works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands‑on role suited to a Site Manager with strong experience managing traditional construction methods, including coordinated trades, structural works, and detailed finishing packages typical of care‑sector developments.

Key Responsibilities

Full day‑to‑day management of site activities on a traditional build project
Coordinating subcontractors across groundworks, structural frame, envelope, fit‑out, and finishing trades
Ensuring compliance with all health & safety, environmental, and quality procedures
Managing short‑term programmes, sequencing works, and maintaining site logistics
Working closely with the Project Manager to monitor progress, risks, and delivery targets
Chairing subcontractor briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions
Ensuring construction works comply with drawings, specifications, and employer's requirements
Maintaining quality standards throughout superstructure and internal trades
Managing snagging, inspections, and handover stages
Keeping accurate site records, daily diaries, and progress reports

About You

Proven experience as a Site Manager on traditional build construction projects
Background in new build residential, care home, or later‑living schemes preferred
Experience delivering schemes in the £5m-£15m range
Strong knowledge of sequencing traditional build trades and managing interfaces
Confident working as part of a project team and reporting into a Project Manager
Organised, proactive, and solutions‑driven
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills

Qualifications (Essential)

SMSTS
CSCS (Manager level)
First Aid at Work
Desirable:

Temporary Works Coordinator
Experience delivering projects in live or constrained London location
