Student Personal Development Manager

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Student Personal Development Manager to join a dynamic Further education team in Cambridge. This pivotal role involves planning, managing, and implementing a comprehensive personal development programme tailored for students, adult learners, and apprentices. If you are a strategic thinker with a strong background in educational settings, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of a personal development calendar that includes relevant topics, events, and activities.
  • Develop and standardize tutorial resources and training for tutors to enhance personal development delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate major student events such as Freshers’ Fairs and enterprise competitions.
  • Oversee student voice processes and support the Students’ Union Executives.
  • Ensure high-quality learning resource centres are maintained and manage pastoral support across the college.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing personal development programmes within an educational setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis, budget management, and IT/eLearning tools.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is essential.
  • A teaching qualification is desirable or be willing to work towards one
