Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for Employment Specialists who will provide advice, guidance and support to customers with various barriers to work which include severe mental health, disabilities or lack of confidence.

You will work with a fluctuating caseload of complex customers, ensuring empathy at all times and you will have a good understanding of some of the challenges customers with multiple barriers to work face.  Throughout you customers' journey you will connect them with training, mentoring and work opportunities to help them to secure and sustain in new employment.

You will have extensive experience supporting unemployed customers with complex needs into work, or you will have worked with customers with barriers to life, learning or employment to overcome their personal challenges.  You will be proactive and compassionate yet have the skills to push clients to reach their goals.  You will be skilled in setting SMART targets and developing relationships quickly with customers, employers and stakeholder partners.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. You will also have access to your own vehicle as this role will be based across the region.
