Reporting to: Finance Manager

Salary: £31,000 per annum

Location: Sevenoaks Office

Hours: 9am-5pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break

Days: Monday to Friday

About Us:

Hemlow Ltd are a Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Company, with our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent and offices in Slough and Birmingham. Our engineers carry out maintenance across the south of England and into the Midlands.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to fill this newly available and varied role. We're big believers in hiring the right people and then giving them the freedom to do what they're good at. We'll give you all the training and support you need to do your job - then we'll let you get on with it.

The Accounts Team play a vital role in the day to day running and success of Hemlow, as we are bridge between internal staff and external suppliers/subcontractors. You will join us during an exciting period of development as we introduce new technologies to the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a diverse team who interact with all areas of the company.

Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Supervisor:

· Processing Overhead Invoices.

· Preparing payment runs and calculating CIS tax when required.

· Authorising Maintenance Invoices from subcontractors.

· Processing CIS Returns for Hemlow Ltd and Hemlow Projects Ltd.

· Processing all tax deduction statements.

· Sending out correspondence to suppliers/subcontractors when required.

· To report monthly figures to the Finance Manager.

· Processing all purchase orders for Head Office.

· Supervising a team of 5 people and overseeing the below:

· Responsible that all invoices are processed monthly and that all statements are reconciled.

· Updating supplier/subcontractor information.

· Dealing with disputes on purchase invoices.

· Supervising the fleet of 52 vehicles.

· Responsible that all timesheets and expenses are processed for 100 plus employees.

· Process all purchase orders for maintenance contracts.

· To complete the above to the monthly deadlines

· To be aware of the IR35 changes and vat reverse charges

Our company are currently going through a change of two systems and preferably would like someone who is happy to work under an old and new system for a temporary period.

Skills and Experience:

· Supervising skills

· Confident on the phone

· Good communication and administration skills

· Xero accounts system
