We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Thatcham. This role is ideal for someone who is meticulous and efficient in handling warehouse duties. While previous experience in a warehouse environment is ideal, it is not essential. A current valid forklift licence, especially Reach or Counterbalance, is a bonus but not a requirement.

• Ensure goods are picked and packed in a timely manner while taking professional care.
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment.
• Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines at all times.
• Manage various computer-based systems effectively.
• Perform manual lifting of goods of various sizes and weights.
• Handle loading and unloading of products from vehicles.
• Conduct general warehouse ad-hoc duties as needed.
• Check inbound and outbound goods for accuracy and quality.
• Use initiative and forward-thinking to solve problems and improve processes.
• Develop an understanding of the company’s wide-ranging products.

• Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
• Computer literacy to manage inventory and logistics software.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to manually handle items with care and efficiency.
• Forklift licence (Reach or Counterbalance) is a bonus.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Proactive and able to use initiative to improve warehouse operations.
