Job Posting: Warehouse and Stores Operative

Salary: £25,500 per annum

DIMENSIONS: General warehouse and stores duties within the Kitting area of the warehouse.

KEY PURPOSE OF JOB: To carry out all duties in a diligent and efficient manner ensuring all activities are conducted and recorded accurately.

MAIN DUTIES:

1. Locating or booking in product detailed on pick lists and assembling kits for dispatch on-time and to both quality and customer requirements.

OTHER DUTIES:

1. Receiving and recording deliveries from suppliers and subsequent disposition to kits or appropriate and correct bin locations.
2. Receiving Pick List. Locating product listed, packing and despatching product on a timely basis subject to both quality and customer requirements.
3. Maintaining an adequate knowledge of all stores procedures in order to perform other duties as and when required and directed.
4. Assisting with the cyclic stock check.
5. Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the stores at all times.
6. Promptly report any situations or conditions which may adversely affect the health or safety of employees or visitors to either the Stock Records & Stores Supervisor or the Health & Safety Officer (QA Manager).
7. Comply with all the requisite procedures detailed in the Quality Assurance Manual and all other relevant Company procedures.
8. Other ad-hoc duties that may reasonably be required from time to time.
9. A forklift licence would be advantageous.

Working Hours:

Initially:

• Monday – Thursday: 07:45 ? 16:30 with 1 hour lunch
• Friday: 07:45 ? 14:45 with 1 hour lunch

Once up to speed and with their agreement, we would be happy to consider reducing lunch by 30 minutes to accommodate a later start or earlier finish.
