Full-Time English Teacher (GCSE Level) - Immediate Start / Easter Start

At Education Personnel, we are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools on a full-time basis. This English Teacher role is available for an immediate start or from the Easter term, initially for 5 weeks, with the potential to be extended due to ongoing staff absence.

This is an exciting opportunity for an English Teacher to step into a supportive and well-structured school environment and make an immediate impact teaching up to GCSE level. Education Personnel works closely with schools to ensure every English Teacher is well-supported throughout their placement.

The Role - English Teacher:

Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Support students in preparation for GCSE English Language and Literature

*

Plan, mark, and assess student work in line with school expectations

*

Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment

*

Work collaboratively with the wider English department and school staff

The Ideal English Teacher Will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification

*

Have experience teaching as an English Teacher up to GCSE level

*

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for English

*

Be adaptable, proactive, and confident stepping into a new role

Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
