Senior Sous Chef Role Overview

The Senior Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. The successful Senior Sous Chef will ensure consistency, quality, and leadership across all sections.

This position suits a confident Senior Sous Chef with a background in 2 AA Rosette kitchens or higher.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Sous Chef:

* Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team.

* Maintain high standards across all sections and services.

* Assist in menu development using seasonal ingredients.

* Train and develop junior chefs within the brigade.

* Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

* Step up and run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.

Key Requirements for the Senior Sous Chef:

* Strong experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a 2 AA Rosette kitchen or higher.

* Several years' experience at 2 Rosette level or above is essential.

* Proven leadership and kitchen management ability.

* Passion for high-quality food and attention to detail.

* Ability to work under pressure in a busy, fine dining kitchen.

* Stable background within quality establishments preferred.
