P4 are currently working with a client who are looking for exceptional support workers to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred support. You’ll work directly with individuals to empower them in improving their quality of life, enhancing independence, and accessing essential services.Key ResponsibilitiesService Delivery
- Provide tailored support that helps people live more independently, make informed choices, and develop essential life skills.
- Carry out keywork sessions either in service users’ homes, community settings or hubs on a 1:1 basis.
- Participate in assessments, including risk assessments, and deliver emotional, practical, and advisory support.
- Support individuals in exploring and securing housing options and other relevant services.
- Assist in scheduling and attending appointments with professionals such as social workers, medical staff or probation officers.
- Provide guidance around budgeting, debt management, and welfare benefit applications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including financial and communication logs.
Teamwork
- Be an active part of a collaborative, supportive staff team, fostering a safe and positive environment.
- Contribute to a varied programme of activities tailored to individual needs and preferences, helping people build confidence and reduce their reliance on support over time.
Quality and Development
- Complete the staff induction programme and help train new colleagues, students, and volunteers where needed.
- Attend and contribute to regular team meetings, supervision, training, and development sessions.
