Warehouse Manager (E-commerce & Logistics)

Are you an experienced Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager with B2C e-commerce experience looking to lead operations in a fast-growing international business?

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to take full ownership of warehouse operations, drive KPI performance, and build a high-performing team within a dynamic e-commerce distribution environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on operational efficiency, process improvement, and team leadership—and enjoys working in a fast-paced B2C fulfilment setting. Being Fluent in Mandarin is essential due to WMS system being in Mandarin and also communication with stakeholders also required.

About the Role

As our Warehouse Operations Lead (UK), you will oversee end-to-end warehouse and e-commerce fulfilment operations, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.

You will play a key role in implementing best-in-class warehouse processes, improving operational performance, and ensuring seamless B2C order fulfilment within cost and service targets.

You will also lead and develop a team of 4-5 warehouse operatives, setting clear standards and driving a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & KPI Management

Develop, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across:

Inbound goods inspection
Inventory storage and layout planning
Order picking and packing (B2C fulfilment)
Outbound dispatch and quality control
Returns and reverse logistics

Monitor and optimise key warehouse KPIs, including:

Inventory accuracy
Order fulfilment speed (dispatch SLA)
Mis-shipment and error rates

Implement 6S / Lean warehouse principles to maintain a safe, efficient, and organised environment
Drive improvements in warehouse productivity, space utilisation, and cost efficiency

Inventory Management & Space Optimisation

Lead cycle counts and perform root cause analysis on stock discrepancies
Implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy and stock control
Plan and optimise warehouse layout, including:

Storage zones
Picking areas
Packing and dispatch zones

Improve workflow efficiency across picking, packing, and shipping operations
Use data to optimise warehouse capacity and storage density

Team Leadership & Operational Support

Recruit, train, and manage a team of warehouse operatives
Conduct performance reviews and support ongoing employee development
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Act as the first point of contact for operational issues and emergencies
Coordinate internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations and business continuity

Requirements

Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, or Logistics Operations Manager
B2C e-commerce fulfilment experience is essential (high-volume order picking, packing, and shipping)
Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs, SLAs, and performance management
Experience implementing SOPs, process improvements, and operational best practices
Solid knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and stock accuracy
Demonstrated experience managing warehouse teams
Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-driven
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
Chinese language skills are essential due to daily communication with HQ in China
