The main purpose of the Finance Systems and Processes Analyst (Which we call a Finance Systems and Processes Coordinator internally) is to lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with others within Finance and the wider business.

You will be a conduit between the finance team that you will be representing, the wider business and our system support teams in order to maximise system possibilities and drive process efficiencies. You will influence business areas in terms of system capability and the 'art of the possible' and make recommendations on design issues based on your product knowledge and knowledge of existing processes. You will be providing documentation to support business cases and help drive decision making by clearly documenting options, possibilities, risks and relevant pros and cons of any system or process change.

Need to know (to be successful in this role, you will need to know):

  • Good understanding of Finance transacting and Payroll processes
  • Have knowledge of a Finance and Payroll systems, (ideally Workday and ITrent)
  • Best practice in Continuous Improvement and Project methodologies, including risk and issue management
  • How to pay attention to detail, while recognising when good is good enough
  • Microsoft Office tools, including Visio and PowerPoint
  • How to communicate clearly to a wide range of audiences up to and including Exec level
  • How to give and receive feedback
  • How to proactively deliver in a challenging environment
  • How to build your knowledge of the wider business, business areas, and stakeholder requirements, and the ability to use this knowledge to create meaningful system improvement
  • How to work collaboratively with stakeholders across AQA Group in the spirit of "One AQA"
