We are excited to offer the opportunity for dedicated and dynamic Lecturers to join our School of Supported Learning. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about teaching and developing learners' skills, particularly focusing on the Access to FE programmes within Foundation Studies.
Day-to-day of the role: - Plan and deliver a range of courses within Foundation Studies, with a particular focus on Access to FE programmes.
- Actively participate in the development of programmes and curricula within the area.
- Engage in activities aimed at developing learners' skills for independence and preparing them for employment or further study.
- Utilise up-to-date teaching methods and materials that cater to the needs of learners with diverse educational backgrounds.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the educational experience and foster a supportive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Possession of a degree in a relevant subject area or a minimum Level 3 qualification with substantial teaching experience in Foundation Studies.
- Experience in teaching within the Foundation Learning area, including Functional Skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of good practice in teaching and learning within the sector.
- A Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector is desirable but not essential.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
