Reporting to the Managing Director of this leading property management company, this role will take a leading role in the management of our commercial portfolio, with some residential involvement. This role offers the opportunity to oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of properties, ensuring compliance with lease obligations, RICS guidelines, and maintaining high standards of property management practice.

Key Responsibilities:
As Property Manager, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of our managed portfolio, including:
Portfolio & Client Management
- Day-to-day management of commercial and mixed-use properties
- Keeping files updated and providing accurate, timely advice to clients
- Managing and resolving issues raised by freeholders, leaseholders, and tenants
- Conducting regular property inspections and reporting findings
Maintenance & Compliance
- Coordinating repairs, maintenance, and health & safety requirements
- Ensuring statutory compliance across all properties
- Managing and instructing contractors and suppliers
- Overseeing utilities and processing relevant invoices
Administrative & Operational Duties
- Using and maintaining the property management software system
- Managing key logs and ensuring accurate documentation
- Monitoring critical dates including rent reviews, lease renewals, and planned maintenance
- Supporting other surveyors or apprentices when needed
General Duties:
- Responding to telephone enquiries from clients and tenants
- Carrying out tasks as required by the Managing Director
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- RICS qualification is essential.
- Proven experience in property management, preferably in both commercial and residential sectors.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using property management software and systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
