Maintenance Technician / Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: Up to £36,000 + Benefits
Location: Fakenham
Hours: Monday-Friday, 14:00-22:30 + 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (06:00-12:00)

The Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a hands-on role in keeping production equipment and site infrastructure running efficiently and safely. Reporting to the Senior Engineer, you'll be responsible for a wide range of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across both electrical and mechanical systems. Your day-to-day will also include supporting site upgrades, liaising with contractors, and driving equipment reliability improvements.

The Right Candidate

We're looking for a multi-skilled technician with a solid background in electrical and mechanical maintenance. You'll be proactive, reliable, and able to respond quickly to breakdowns while keeping a calm head. A keen eye for detail, good record keeping, and a collaborative mindset are key.

Essential

* Recognised qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship)

* 18th Edition Electrical Certification

* Experience in fault finding and carrying out PPMs

* Solid understanding of Health & Safety practices

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable

* Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, or steam systems

* Background in industrial or production environment
