Logistics Operative / Basildon / £14.55 per hour

Our client, a leading Aerospace and Defence manufacturer, are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their Logistics Team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks to support the efficient transition of materials through our hub, ensuring we meet business requirements and service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and put away inventory accurately.
• Process incoming goods receipts.
• Conduct inventory checks.
• Pack deliverable items.
• Handle customer repair receipts.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
• Delivering goods to different sites

Essential:

• Experience in logistics, retail, warehouse, or stock management.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar systems.
• Clean UK driving licence.
• SC Clearance

Desirable:

• Forklift and reach truck certification or inhouse experience
• Pallet stacker truck and MEWP certification.
• Previous Expereince within Aerospace or Defence

Skills:

• Computer literate.
• Organised with a neat work ethic.
• Manually dexterous.
• Physically fit and agile.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• UK National willing to undergo security vetting

This is a 6 month temporary contract with the potential to extend

Monday to Thursday 7.30pm to 3.30pm, 12.30pm finish on a Friday
