SALARY: £28000 - £35000 per annum + Benefits - see advert

Experienced conveyancers are very much still in demand. Why not work for a law firm with the infrastructure and work sources to ensure that they can withstand any downturn in the housing market that may or may not be on the horizon!

Modern offices combined with a strong identity, case management system and financial incentives combine to ensure that this law firm continues to attract quality candidates.

The role:

If you are a Residential Conveyancer with at least 2 years' worth of experience in residential sales and purchase work this could be the ideal destination for you. To be considered, you will be competent in managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions including:

  • Sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold
  • New build
  • Help to buy
  • Equity releasse
  • Remortgage transactions

We met with the firm recently and were very impressed by the teamwork on display across the conveyancing department. A common gripe of conveyancers is the lack of case support on days off. The team structure in place is there to ensure that there is sufficient holiday cover in place to cover workloads, making holidays more enjoyable for staff worried that they will come back to dissatisfied clients and too much to do.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Up to £35,000
  • Bonus scheme
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Discounted legal services
  • Training and development plan
  • Supportive and friendy team
  • City centre location

Recent testimonial: Joe contacted me regarding a commercial property solicitor role during a difficult time for me, as I had just been made redundant. Joe was great and listened to the kind of role I wanted to secure, and his colleague Nick was able to secure an interview for me at an excellent firm. Nick was very knowledgeable about my new employer; he was always available to answer any questions and provided me with prompt updates on my application. I would highly recommend Thornton Legal to anyone seeking a new position.
