We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing distribution business based in Leeds who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, supportive business in a long-term, stable role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing customer accounts and ensuring prompt payment
* Chasing outstanding invoices via phone and email
* Allocating payments and reconciling accounts
* Building strong relationships with customers and internal teams
* Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies
* Maintaining accurate financial records and updating systems
* Supporting the wider finance team when required
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Credit Controller is essential
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Confident in managing aged debt and resolving queries
* High attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
* Experience using finance or ERP systems
* Reliable, organised and able to work independently
