Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating a large hydraulic press to create molds ranging from 5 inches to 40 inches in size. The ideal candidate will have experience in conventional press operation, with additional expertise in setting coil or air-fed presses being advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Operate a large hydraulic press to produce molds according to specifications.

Set up and adjust machinery to ensure proper functioning.

Monitor equipment during operation to detect any malfunctions or abnormalities.

Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery in optimal condition.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Press Operator, preferably with experience in conventional press operation.

Familiarity with setting coil or air-fed presses is advantageous.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Willingness to work day shifts with a 6:30 am start time.
