Salary: £16.50 - £18.50 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

Action Recruitment is recruiting for a skilled Toolmaker to join a respected engineering company in Wellingborough. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced professional with knowledge of plastic injection moulding.

Key Responsibilities

* Assembly of plastic injection moulding tools

* Use of conventional machines including milling, lathe, surface grinding, and hand tools

* Bed out tooling and polishing to high standards

* Work from engineering drawings to produce and maintain precision tooling

* Support production by ensuring tools are accurate, reliable, and ready for use

Candidate Requirements

* Proven experience as a Toolmaker

* Strong knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes

* Skilled in conventional machining and toolroom practices

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
