Role
In the role of Principal Recruitment Consultant, you'll be instrumental in connecting exceptional candidates with their ideal permanent or contract positions. Your ability to pay attention to detail and provide a smooth, consistent experience throughout the recruitment process will be vital. Your enthusiasm for the industry will help you successfully match the best talent to the right roles.

We believe in a service-driven approach, focusing on building long-term relationships. Our aim is to provide tailored recruitment solutions that help our clients grow by securing the best candidates for their needs.

Our business thrives on effective systems, and you will be responsible for managing and updating our market leading ATS. This will help streamline processes and enhance productivity. With access to industry-leading software, you'll have everything you need to exceed your targets. You'll receive expert training from our experienced business and office managers to support your recruitment growth.
The role is based in our Runcorn office where ideally you will be happy to be based there to make the most of the direct support and collaboration opportunities it offers. We own our own building, so there is access to a gym, a garden and it's so easy to get to us from the M56, and surrounding areas.
A hybrid working model may be considered dependent on experience and suitability.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

A proven track record as a Senior or Principal Recruitment Consultant or equivalent
Experience in technical recruitment, ideally within the areas we specialise in such as Engineering, Project Management, Construction or Manufacturing. However, we will consider other areas if you show that you are adaptable and can demonstrate entering new markets. 
In this role, you will:

Demonstrate expertise in acquiring new clients and growing business relationships, ensuring optimal results
Have a successful history of negotiating commercial terms that align with company expectations
Use your strong organizational skills to effectively manage your candidate database and attract top-quality talent
Stay current with relevant recruitment laws and compliance requirements 
Your Career Development:
As part of the interview process, the planning and strategy start there. Before you join us, we work together to develop what your focus will be so you can hit the ground running. You'll be supported by roles from existing clients, but to grow your desk and develop quickly, you will need to bring in your own clients and jobs. That's where the fun begins! By building a desk we can get more junior recruiters working for you. As you go a business you can then become a Business Manager. Then if you grow a sizeable business, there is nothing stopping you getting to Director level in the future.
