With a strong legacy and a clear strategic focus on high-margin, scalable systems, this northeast-based site is at the heart of innovation.The opportunityYou’ll join a highly experienced engineering team, contributing to the design and development of bespoke systems from first principles. This includes:
•    Designing process systems
•    Producing P&ID schematics, fabrication drawings, and GA drawings (2D & 3D CAD)
•    Performing engineering calculations (thermodynamics, pressure, flow, power)
•    Creating technical documentation for CE marking, PED, ATEX/IECEx compliance
•    Leading design reviews and liaising with customers
•    Supporting commissioning and risk assessments
•    Collaborating across departments to ensure quality and continuous improvementAbout youAre you a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for complex systems and a desire to work on cutting-edge projects?What We’re Looking For
•    Proven experience in mechanical design engineering
•    Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor)
•    Ability to interpret and produce P&ID drawings
•    Commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
•    A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
