Job Title: Registered Manager - Residential Mental Health Service
Location: Leeds
Salary: £44,930.50 - £51,616.50 per annum (DOE)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (including on-call)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 5-6 bed residential service supporting young people aged 16-30 with complex mental health needs and eating disorders.

You will hold overall responsibility for regulatory compliance, leadership of the staff team, and the delivery of safe, effective, person-centred care in line with CQC standards and the Health and Social Care Act 2008.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, statutory requirements, and internal governance processes

*

Lead and develop the staff team through supervision, performance management, and effective workforce planning

*

Oversee care planning, risk management, safeguarding, and physical health monitoring in line with NICE guidance

*

Work collaboratively with the MDT to deliver integrated, evidence-based and person-centred care

*

Monitor KPIs, incidents, complaints, audits, and budgets to drive continuous improvement

*

Act as the main point of contact for commissioners, NHS teams, local authorities, and external stakeholders

About You

*

Minimum 12 months' recent management experience within residential services, including at least 2 years in a Residential/Registered Manager role

*

Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker qualification (or equivalent)

*

Strong knowledge of mental health, safeguarding, and CQC-regulated environments

*

Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and maintain high-quality care standards

*

Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and willingness to participate in an on-call rota

Desirable:

*

Experience within eating disorder services

*

Level 5 qualification in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
