Job Title: Quantity Surveyor 

Location: Stansted Airport
Contract role inside IR35 (umbrella PAYE) 
Hybrid working (3days on site per week)

About the Role

We are looking for an adaptable and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join a collaborative team. This role focuses on managing a high volume of small to medium-sized works (typically up to £1m per project) with quick turnaround times and a strong emphasis on stakeholder management.

You will work across multiple low-value, fast-paced contracts, ensuring cost control, contractual compliance, and value for money. This role suits someone who thrives on variety, is confident in juggling multiple projects at once, and can work closely with diverse stakeholders in a live operational environment.

About You

Experience managing small works ideally in an operational or live environment.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple short-duration projects simultaneously.

Skilled in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, with a diplomatic and solutions-focused approach.

Knowledge of relevant forms of contract (NEC/JCT) and associated commercial processes.

Good attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Strong numerical and analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office and relevant QS software.

Desirable

Previous experience in an airport, facilities management, retail, or public sector environment.

Experience in frameworks or term contracts with quick mobilisation requirements
