About the Nursery Practitioner Role:

  • Nursery Practitioner, you’ll help foster curiosity, independence, and a love of learning
  • through play-based, child-led experiences. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals

Key Responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner:

  • Plan, deliver, or support enriching activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging space where children can grow and flourish
  • Support daily routines including meals, toileting, naps, and transitions
  • Build trusting relationships with children, families, and your team
  • Observe and document children’s progress, supporting their individual learning journeys
  • (Level 3 only) Take on a key person role, managing assessments and development planning
  • (Level 3 only) Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a culture of excellence and care

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare
  • A nurturing, motivated personality with a genuine love for early years education
  • A solid understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
