This respected national financial planning firm is seeking a detail focused professional to join their growing quality function and play a key role in ensuring consistently high standards of advice across pensions and investments.

In this role, you will review advice files prior to submission, assessing suitability, identifying risks and confirming whether cases can be signed off within internal guidelines. Where improvements are needed, you will provide clear, constructive feedback to advisers and paraplanners to help enhance the quality of recommendations and client outcomes. You will also consider the full context of each case, using your technical knowledge to spot gaps or inconsistencies that may impact suitability.

You will work closely with internal teams including technical, training and paraplanning, developing strong relationships and expanding your knowledge base. The firm also offers access to structured development, a supportive environment and opportunities to broaden your expertise over time.

Business Quality Officer Requirements

Essential

  • Experience reviewing pension and investment advice files
  • R02 and R04
  • Strong understanding of suitability requirements

Desirable

  • Level 4 Diploma or close to completing
  • Prior paraplanning or compliance experience
