Are you a Maths graduate looking to gain experience in Education?

A well-regarded secondary school in Lewisham is seeking a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students across the Mathematics department.

As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll work with pupils in KS3 to KS5, providing classroom assistance, subject-specific intervention, and academic mentoring. You'll also support learners with SEN, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote engagement in Mathematics.

Key responsibilities:

Providing in-class support in Mathematics lessons
Running 1:1 and group interventions for underachieving students
Helping with lesson resources, planning, and marking
Supporting students with SEND or EAL backgroundsThis role is ideal for aspiring Maths teachers or those interested in supporting students in Mathematics.

We're looking for:

A 2:1 or First-Class degree in Mathematics or related field
A genuine interest in education and social development
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
