About you: Sommelier
We are recruiting for a highly talented and experienced Sommelier/Senior Sommelier to join our Team. As a Sommelier, you would have an eye for detail and be highly knowledgeable on wine pairing and wine sales skills. As an individual you will be passionate about wines and be able to give detailed description on the old and new world wines. You will go beyond and above to ensure that every guest receives a lasting and memorable experience, whilst efficiently and effectively assisting the Head Sommelier in managing all aspects of the Sommelier department.
Working structure: Sommelier
3 doubles and 2 short shifts per week.
2 days off
Responsibilities:
·Possessing strong knowledge of wines and London’s restaurant industry
·Assist in managing the Wine List and cultivate professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
·Continuously contributing in educating and training the restaurant Team to enhance their wine knowledge
·Delivering all aspects of the guest experience according to our standards
·Assist in performing stock takes
·Stay updated on industry trends and new wine release
·Guest Service: Take orders, provide recommendations, and offer excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every guest
·Work in collaboration with the Front of House Team

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sommelier/Senior Sommelier in a well-established Hospitality venue
- The ability to influence others through skills, knowledge and guidance to others
- Being able to maintain confidence and oversight in an upscale Restaurant during busy periods of the wine section
- Possessing a strong comprehension of the wine industry and its trends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and engaging personality
- Willingness to assist colleagues during busy periods
- Passion for creating memorable guests’ experiences and providing exceptional customer service
- Certification in sommelier training is a must such as WSET level 2/3 or advanced Court of Master Sommeliers.
