Position: Registered Homes Manager

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of a Children's Home/Short-Breaks Provision/Long-Breaks Provision/Edge of Care, ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and the County Council's standards.
Lead the development and implementation of services that prioritise the needs and aspirations of young people and families.
Support strategic planning and collaborate with senior management to achieve organisational objectives.
Provide effective leadership and promote a culture of teamwork and professional development.
Oversee regulatory inspections and audits, including Ofsted and Regulation 44, ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
Manage staff resources, including recruitment, induction, supervision, and performance development reviews.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with young people, families, professionals, and external agencies.Requirements:

Demonstrated experience managing services for young people, preferably in a residential environment.
Knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and experience with regulatory inspections.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
