We're hiring for an experienced Project Manager to join a property maintenance company based in Buxton, Derbyshire. You will be responsible for the planning, management, coordination, and financial control of a range of contracts and projects.
You will oversee projects to ensure desired outcomes are achieved, within agreed timescales, strict set budgets, using defined resources, to a very high standards of both safety and quality.

What will you be doing as a Project Manager?
* Providing advice and governance on the management of projects, which will include providing regular communications / briefings for stakeholders
* Promoting continuous improvement, delivering a demonstrable high-quality product and service
* Preparing and delivering Contracts/Projects in accordance with internal project management governance arrangements
* Developing and compiling all required technical documents including specification and tender documents, JCT/NEC contracts, building control, planning applications
* Managing projects ensuring compliance with budget and programme and that all quality standards are met
* Managing project budget and monitoring costs
* Undertaking regular site inspections and managing health and safety throughout the project with excellent record keeping from inception to completion
* Processing valuations/invoices and managing costs in line with budgets and variation thresholds
* Determining the condition of existing buildings/structures, identifying and analysing defects, including proposals for repairs
What do you need?
* Recognised building/construction qualification minimum of HNC/HND in building construction
* Proven working experience in construction project management, commercially aware with a sound knowledge of business objectives
* Full UK driving licence and the flexibility to be on site as needed
* Good knowledge of current construction guidelines including CDM, Building Control Regulations
* Excellent CDM and Health and Safety knowledge
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
* Heritage/conservation/sustainable construction knowledge
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to produce accurate timely management record and information
* Excellent numerical, written, and verbal communication skills
