Director Of Market Access

Job Description

Our client company, a very successful and international Biopharmaceutical company, is looking for a Director or Senior Director, Market Access for its blood disorder and rare disease products. The Director of Market Access will identify KOLs and their organizational relationships in key stakeholder groups (payer, patient and physician). Create and assist with development and implementation strategy as it pertains to the market access environment. Position reports to the SVP of Market Access and National Accounts and will be based in the corporate home-office with 25% travel. Competitive salary plus bonus and full benefits. 


  • Strategic market access planning
  • HEOR analysis models
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to address challenges
  • Educate managed care space on product differentiation
  • Develop managed care programs with national accounts team
  • Help create marketing and pull-through materials for commercial sales teams with marketing dept
  • Payer focused training programs
  • Design, prepare, and tender relevant submissions to payers to gain positive outcomes from public and private formularies
  • Secure formulary approval for all products
  • Execute public and private payer reimbursement strategy
  • In-depth knowledge of payer landscape to update internal and external stakeholders

  • BA/BS degree, MBA or advanced degree preferred
