Overview:

A dynamic, fast paced private equity-backed business is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Reporting Lead to join its fast-paced finance function. This is a high-impact role focused on leading statutory audits, managing reporting cycles, and supporting strategic finance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate statutory audits, including managing external auditors and internal stakeholders
• Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual statutory financial statements
• Project manage finance teams through audit and reporting processes
• Support investor relations with KPI data and insights for quarterly reporting
• Provide technical accounting expertise
• Drive improvements in finance processes and controls

Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with 3+ years post-qualified experience
• Proven experience leading audits and managing teams through audit cycles
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented
