About the Business

You’ll be joining a major global toy and creative products manufacturer with a long-established heritage in product innovation, arts & crafts, and consumer goods. The company has a significant international presence, including operational support teams in both the UK and the US. Their products are distributed worldwide, with ongoing expansion into new product lines, enhanced logistics capabilities, and modernised operational infrastructure.

The Role

We are seeking a Junior Account Coordinator to support international accounts, product workflows, and customer communication. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is extremely reliable, proactive, and comfortable learning by observing and gradually taking on more responsibility.

The team is small but high-output - leadership expects the effectiveness of a much larger operation, so organisation, consistency, and follow-through are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support with daily account activity, responding to email-based enquiries and managing task sequences.
  • Assist with updating internal workflow tools, including the new Monday.com system.
  • Track incoming products and support communication to customers on order status and availability.
  • Help gather information for product launches, marketing activity, and digital retail channels.
  • Carry out essential administrative duties such as reporting, task updates, and documentation.
  • Take ownership of straightforward tasks without needing to be chased.
  • Provide general support during both busy and quieter periods - using quieter times for development.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong academic background, ideally with high-level attainment in English and Maths.
  • Experience in administration, customer service, or coordination.
  • Strong written communication skills and confidence navigating high email volume.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A naturally organised person with good time management and attention to detail.

Preferred (Not Essential)

  • Experience in retail operations, merchandising, sales support, or logistics.
  • Familiarity with workflow platforms (Monday.com, CRM tools).
  • Interest in product-based businesses or creative consumer goods.
  • Additional languages.

Personal Qualities

  • Extremely dependable and self-motivated.
  • Comfortable working “in the trenches” on foundational tasks.
  • Happy to sit, watch, learn, and gradually build expertise.
  • Positive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a small but evolving team.
  • Proactive, professional, and committed to completing tasks without follow-up.
