What you'll be doing
You'll handle a variety of horticultural tasks, including mowing, hedge cutting, weeding, pruning, and pesticide application. Planning and organising daily tasks to meet the specific needs of the site will be key, along with managing stock for plants, tools, and safety equipment.
In addition to maintenance, you'll oversee the safe operation and care of machinery and vehicles, carry out routine administrative duties, and help visitors find graves or memorials. You'll also ensure health and safety standards are followed, helping to create safe, calm, and respectful environments.

What you need to have

  • NVQ level 2 in Horticulture (or equivalent) OR practical experience within horticulture, such as plant identification, sustainable garden practices, and garden maintenance.
  • Understanding of health & safety
  • Experience with a wide range of garden machinery
  • Full UK driver's license (Manual)
  • IT literate
