Financial Planning Administrator - GosforthSalary:  £23,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)This is a full-time office-based role working in a friendly and supportive team environment, with opportunities for career growth. Our client, a reputable financial planning practice in Gosforth is seeking a highly-motivated and organised Financial Planning Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to a team of financial planners and paraplanners, ensuring that clients receive a high level of service and attention. Responsibilities:
  • Undertaking a range of administrative tasks to support the financial planning team, including managing client files and scheduling appointments.
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries acting as first point of contact to clients, taking them through the financial planning process and keeping them informed along the way.
  • Maintain accurate client records and databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Support the financial planners in the preparation of client reports, presentations, and other financial planning materials.
  • Liaising with product providers and other third parties.
  • Working with various platforms and cashflow tools to ensure colleagues are adequately prepared for all meetings and any work on behalf of clients is completed.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, contributing to the overall success of the practice.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an administrative role within the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of financial planning concepts and terminology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent numeracy and literacy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent time management and organisation skills.
