Job Opportunity: Training & Development Coach in Engineering
Location: East Lancashire (with travel required to other sites and employers)
Rate: £30-40p/h
Contract: Full-time (37 hours per week), starting ASAP until 27th March 2026

Eden Brown are seeking a skilled and dedicated Training & Development Coach in Engineering to join the team at a leading further education college in East Lancashire on a full-time temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver and assess apprenticeship standards for Engineering pathways, including: Engineering Technician (Mechatronics Maintenance Technician), Engineering Fitter, Engineering Technician (Technical Support Pathway)
*Support and guide apprentices through their journey, ensuring they meet the required Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviour (KSBs) and are fully prepared for End-Point Assessment (EPA).
*Manage caseloads, maintain compliance with reviews, off-the-job tracking, and portfolio development.
*Provide high-quality training and development to apprentices to enhance their skills and career prospects.

Essential Criteria:
*Occupational competence in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or fitter).
*Qualified Assessor (A1, TAQA, or CAVA).
*Proven experience delivering and assessing Engineering apprenticeships, specifically in: Engineering Technician (Mechatronics Maintenance Technician), Engineering Fitter and Engineering Technician (Technical Support pathway)
*In-depth knowledge of apprenticeship standards, KSBs, and End-Point Assessment (EPA) requirements.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage caseloads and ensure compliance with all relevant tracking and documentation.
