About the Role
We’re looking for a Resident Involvement Lead to champion and deliver our housing association client's Resident Involvement Strategy across the region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, coordinating projects, and ensuring that residents have a strong voice in shaping the services they receive.
You will lead and support a diverse range of involvement activities, helping residents influence services, guiding scrutiny work, and demonstrating the real value resident engagement brings.
Main Purpose of the Role
• Lead at a regional level in promoting the Resident Involvement Strategy, ensuring residents access and engage in client's involvement offer.
• Co-ordinate, facilitate and deliver resident involvement activities, including support for resident-led scrutiny.
• Evidence the value, impact and outcomes of resident engagement and demonstrate how residents positively influence service delivery.
Key Accountabilities
• Act as the primary engagement lead, working closely with regional and customer-facing teams to maximise local involvement.
• Own all enquiries relating to resident involvement opportunities, training, events and funding.
• Maintain accurate involvement data and lead on regular KPI reporting.
• Develop a range of involvement opportunities, championing digital tools and multiple engagement channels.
• Drive forward the digital resident involvement agenda in line with strategy.
• Manage and monitor funding allocations to local groups, ensuring full compliance and auditing.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the sector’s regulatory framework, supporting residents and colleagues accordingly.
• Support compliance evidence gathering and verification at regional level.
• Assist in organising and delivering resident engagement days, partnership events and conferences.
• Lead on data collation and research to support the Resident Scrutiny Committee (RSC) in their annual review.
• Lead the setup and support of Service Improvement Groups (SIGs) and Task & Finish Groups, ensuring all follow-up actions are completed.
