The School and Role

We require a Teaching Assistant who is trained with experience of working with children to work in a specialist school in Morden, South West London supporting pupils with an autism diagnosis (ASD), or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.The Teaching Assistant would work in the capacity of a Teaching Assistant, providing vital support to both teachers and pupils. You will also be responsible for leading phonics interventions in small groups of 2/3 students. The school is a small SEN school which is a short walk from Morden station and easily accessible by bus. The school will deliver training to the right candidate.

Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will:

Have a warm and friendly nature to be able to build positive relationships with pupils.
Have experience working in a mainstream/SEND school
Be passionate about supporting children with barriers to learning.
