Mechanical Engineer - Healthcare

Salary: Up to £45,000 p/a

A globally recognised FM provider is hiring for an experienced Mechanical & AC Engineer to join a high-profile healthcare site in West London. This is a great opportunity to work within a critical environment and become a part of the team that keeps the operation running smoothly 24/7.

The role:

Reporting into the Mechanical Supervisor and working as part of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and fault-finding of all mechanical building services, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant and fully operational at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out preventative maintenance and completing paperwork to ensure the completion of all scheduled PPM activities.

Responding to reactive and emergency faults to maintain compliance in line with KPIs

Managing sub-contractors where necessary to ensure work is completed safely in line with permit-to-work systems.

Undertaking AP/RP duties which have been assigned.

Working 40 hours p/w Monday to Friday, with a requirement to participate in the out of hours on call rota.

What they are looking for:

Mechanically qualified to Level 3

F-gas qualified (essential)

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Good understanding of health & safety in a relevant environment (healthcare)

Demonstrate good planning, organization and showing initiative
